A seminar for magistrates working in Haa Alif, Haa Dhaal and Shaviyani atoll judiciaries, has been held in Haa Alfi Huvarafushi. The seminar was officially inaugurated by Commission Vice President Al-Usthaz Mohamed Faisal.
The two-day seminar is conducted by Judicial Service Commission and briefed the participants on the mandate of the Commission, ethical standards for judiciary members, main issues filed against Judges and the steps taken to resolve the issues.
Additionally, officials from Judicial Justice Unit, will conduct an information session on the principles for minors under international justice laws.
High Court Judge and Judicial Service Commission Member Al-Usthaz Abdullah Hameed, Commission Vice President Al-Usthaz Mohamed Faisal, Commission Member Al-Usthaz Abdul Hannaan Ahmed, Commission Director Corporate Affairs Moomina Umar and Assistant Director Aminath Shurufath Adam will conduct sessions on behalf of the Commission.
