Five companies granted Hajj permits
Five companies have been granted permits to take pilgrims on Hajj for this year.

The companies granted permits for this year are Zaee Hajj Group Pvt Ltd, Acrow Pvt Ltd, Mina Hajj and Umrah Group Pvt Ltd, Al-Armain Hajj and Umrah Company Pvt Ltd and Sisilfaru Hajj and Umrah Group Pvt Ltd.

Al-Armain Hajj and Umrah Company Pvt Ltd will be sending pilgrims for MVR 57,999. Zaee Hajj Group Pvt Ltd will be sending pilgrims for MVR 69,965, while Acrow Pvt Ltd will be charging pilgrims or MVR 69,975 and Mina Hajj and Umrah Group Pvt Ltd will be charging pilgrims for MVR 69,965. Sisilfaru Hajj and Umrah Group Pvt Ltd has charged a fee of MVR 69.965.

Each company had been assigned a quota of 80 pilgrims. Islamic Ministry has said that each company will have to establish their offices within 14 days and that payments can only be accepted after establishing the office. The Ministry also said that payments can be taken after 8th May and that 90 percent of the quota have to be filled first time pilgrims.

All payments have to be made to the company bank accounts; no transactions can be made on cash. The deposit slips must be handed over to the respective company and agreements must be drafted.

Islamic Ministry has appealed to the companies to serve the pilgrims as specified in the proposals submitted to the Ministry. The Ministry also added that if any issue had occurred, then the company has to immediately inform the Ministry.
