Regional Hospitals has appointed a manager for Mundoo Health Centre.
The Health Center was closed earlier this morning, with some citizens stating that there was no management, staff or attendants to review patients.
A resident of Mundoo, reported that an official of the Regional Hospitals had visited the island and held discussions with the citizens and checked the status of the Centre. He said the official had assured that employees and resources will be delivered to the Centre. Following the deliberations, he said the citizens were satisfied, adding that the citizens hoped that the Regional Hospitals will comply with their pledges.
The Health Centre has been opened following the deliberations.
