Judicial Services Commission (JSC) has said the body was beginning more initiatives were planned to ensure more transparency into their proceedings.
JSC Member Latheefa Qasim last night said the biggest concern for many was the lack of information available on the many issues related to the judicial justice system.
She said many of the cases submitted to the Commission involved Judges, therefore there were many issues on revealing information regarding the cases.
Qasim further noted that many had expressed concern over the delay in cases within the judicial justice system.
Civil Court had made remarkable achievements in expediting their cases, especially those cases that had lingered within the judicial justice system for years. Criminal Court had noted that some of their cases had lingered in the system due to issues with the PG Office.
