Arabiyyaa School debate team has defeated Pakistani and English team in International Arabic Debate competition currently on going in Doha, Qatar.
Ahmed Maleej Mohamed, Ahmed Musthaneer Abdul Ghafoor, Hassan Ibn Shafeeu and Abdullah Shaadh Mohamed from grade 9-B and leading teacher Is’haq Rasheed are currently in Doha, taking part in the competition.
This is a tournament run by Qatar Foundation open globally, with 54 nations taking part in the tournament. The tournament is overseen by Qatar Foundation Chairperson and CEO Sheikha Hindh binth Hamad Al-Thani.
Such tournaments are run by Foundation to foster love and awareness of Arabic language.
This is the first time Arabiyyaa School had won such an accord.
