MTCC has donated five diving kits to Coast Guard in recognition of the assistance provided by agency in their operations.
Minister of Defense Force and National Security Adam Shareef Umar accepted the kits from MTCC CEO Ibrahim Abdu Razzaq Haleem.
Minister Adam Shareef Umar said the donations came at a time when the Coast Guard was in need of such a donation. He said MTCC was a company with diligent staff and completed all their projects across the country successfully. He also noted that MTCC was an exemplary company in the corporate social responsibility sector.
“Due to these reasons MTCC has become a company Maldivians are proud of. I would like to note MTCC heads role in implementing Government strategy,” he said.
MTCC CEO Abdu Razzaq Haleem said the company had received MNDF assistance in implementing their projects, especially the Rasfannu beach and Izzuddin Jetty development.
Haleem added that MTCC will always recognize the efforts of those parties who assist the company.
“Previously we had donated two water drainage pumps and we will keep on doing so in the future,” he said.
Coast Guard Commanding Officer Major Mohamed Ibrahim, senior officiers of Coast Guard and MNDF as well as MTCC took part in the ceremony.
