The 4th symposium on training campaign leaders for President Abdulla Yameen’s 2018 presidential campaign has been scheduled to be held in Baa Atoll.
Details of the symposium were provided by Spokesperson at the President’s Office, Ibrahim Muaz Ali, who is in charge of media related work of the symposiums. The symposium will be held from the 5th to the 8th of this month, with 13 islands divided into three sectors, with the symposium to be held in three islands.
The closing ceremony will be held on the 8th in Eydhafushi.
Muaz said that First Lady Fathimath Ibrahim will be the lead on the symposium, adding that the symposium was held in the islands due to the support.
He added that the activists and supporters will be active in the symposium, noting that the symposium will be held in more atolls. He said that in addition to the information provided in the previous ones, practical work related to the campaign start during the 4th symposium. Muaz revealed that the symposium will see door-to-door campaign activities and recruitment of new members to PPM.
