Malaysian Prime Minister Dato' Sri Haji Mohammad Najib bin Tun Haji Abdul Razak has stated both Maldives and Malaysia were united against acts of terror perpetrated in the name of Islam.
He made the statement in a press conference held after the meeting held with President Abdullah Yameen Abdul Qayyoom.
Prime Minister Razaq said that Malaysia was ready to combat terror and bring terrorists to justice, adding that both Maldives and Malaysia were allied in the effort.
The Prime Minister said that President Yameen had assured that Malaysian businesses will be granted easy access to Maldivian markets and will facilitate business and investment opportunities.
