State Trading Organization (STO) has announced to bring changes to the uniform of the company from the month of October.
Speaking to the press, STO Managing Director Adam Azim said that the new uniform will have the national flag and the company identity card holder will also have the national flag.
Adam Azim said that the staffs of STO are those who work in the frontlines in the service of the Maldivian nation and this is what will be shown from their new uniforms.
He said that the company is now conducting special campaigns and programs to wake up the national spirit of the company and to encourage the staffs to work as a team in the service of the nation.
In this regard, Adam Azim said that the STO offices now begin their work every Sunday with the national anthem.
“What we want is to increase nationalism and love for the nation. We are doing everything we can to strengthen this,” he said.
