Thirty two individuals to be sent on Hajj
The Hajj Corporation has handed over the documentation for 32 individuals, employed by Government owned corporations, to be sent on Hajj.

The documentation were handed over to the companies by Hajj Corporation Managing Director Yameen Idris.

STO, MTCC, HDC, Bank of Maldives, MWSC, MPL, MACL, Dhiraagu, STELCO and Island Aviation were among the companies issued the documentation. The Corporation will provide all arrangements for the trip.

Speaking in the ceremony, MTCC CEO Ibrahim Abdu Razzaaq Haleem said that this was a great opportunity granted to the companies.

“This is the first such opportunity granted to MTCC in the company’s 35 year history. We will be sending three employees from our company on this,” he said.

Ibrahim Abdu Razzaq Haleem said that the company employed Maldivians, and some of them are unable to go on pilgrimages on their own. He added that this was a great opportunity for the companies, noting that the President had assured that he will assist in facilitating the project.

Finance Minister Abdullah Jihad said that the Government was working to facilitate the growth of the companies and appealed to the companies furthered the interests of the public and employees of the company.
