Head of Crime Investigation Command ACP Abdullah Nawaz has stated that the Police will hold a special briefing on Saturday regarding the investigation into the disappearance of Minivan News journalist Rilwan.
He made the statement speaking in the press briefing held to brief the media on the developments in four murder cases held today in Iskandar Hall.
Nawaz said that once the briefing was held he hoped that many concerns the journalists had over the disappearance of their colleague will be answered.
He added that the details on the murder of the late Parliament Dr. Afrasheem had been shared with the public, adding that the case was still under investigation.
Police had shared details of the murders of the minor in Shaviyani Noomara on 11th February and Hawwa Zuha murdered on 7th January.
He said that Zuha was murdered following a spat that occurred after she had sexual relations with an individuals. He added that the spat may have involved finances.
The case of Ziyadha Naeem was also briefed today. Ziyadha died on 28th December 2015, from injuries sustained in a sexual assault. Additionally the latest developments on the murder of Ali Abdullah on 2nd March was also shared with the public.
All latest developments on the four cases were briefed in today’s session.
