Health Ministry has stated that ambulance services have been supplied to 95 percent of the population in two years.
Ahmed Qasim had described this as a critical win for the Government.
He said sea ambulance services had been started for emergency patients, noting that the patients can be moved to the nearest health post in 45 minutes. He also noted that the service is provided within Aasandha services.
WHO yesterday had commended the Maldives for the successes achieved by the country over the past years in the health sector, pledging more assistance in the years to come.
