Maldive Gas has introduced a 5kg gas cylinder.
The ceremony held at Henveiru surf point to introduce this new product was officiated by STO Managing Director Adam Azim.
Adam Azim said that the latest technology will not run after us but it is we who should compete with the latest technologies.
Adam Azim said that with only about 120 staffs Maldive Gas supplies 70 percent of the gas to Male’, Hulhumale’, Villimale’ and throughout Maldives.
Maldive Gas Pvt Ltd was incorporated on 3rd October 1999, State Trading Organization (STO) being the major shareholder with 90% and Champa Gas & Oil Pvt Ltd with the other 10%. The company supplies Liquefied Petroleum bottled gas in 2kg, 5kg, 10kg, 22kg and 45kg cylinders with a wide range of appliances in domestic and industrial purposes.
