Vilimale’ MP Ahmed Nihan has called to ban family members of boycotters from entering resorts.
Nihan said that those calling for boycotting the biggest revenue earners were traitors and as such they should not be granted any rights or privileges. He added that neither they nor their families should be allowed entry into resorts.
Nihan urged the industry heads to amalgamate this aspect into their operations.
“I call on members of MATI not to allow their families or relatives to enter any resorts. We can also start a boycott campaign, against these elements. MATI has suffered over the years due to these calls for boycotts, they are aware of the damages, how many employees who had not been paid their salaries, how many resorts owed money. They cannot justify their actions or distance themselves from their actions, stating that they were party related,” he said.
