Sri Lankan Ambassador to the Maldives has stated that the Embassy will start Singhalese classes to facilitate easy integration to the Maldivians living or planning to go to Sri Lanka.
The new Ambassador Major General (Retd) B.R.W.M.R.A.B Thoradeniya made the statement in a meeting held with Education Minister Dr. Aishath Shiham.
They held discussions on the scholarships offered by the Sri Lankan Government and on conducting self-defense classes aimed for women in Male’. They also held discussions on developing the education ties between the two nations.
Education Minister welcomed the Ambassador to the country.
