Service will improve after cable connection: Dhiraagu
Dhiraagu has stated that once the cables in the old premises in Medhuziyaaraaiy Magu had been transferred to Postal Building, the services provided by the company will improve drastically.

Dhiraagu revealed that 30 percent of the work is to yet to be completed, adding that during the transfer of the cables service disruption is expected to occur.

The company said that tomorrow the company will transfer a 2400 line cable. Dhiraagu added that the cable will be cut during the process, adding that many customers will experience service disruption temporarily during the period. The company said that they expected a three to eight hour disruption to the service tomorrow but will work to resume services as soon as possible. The entire project, the company said is expected to be concluded by the end of this month.

Dhiraagu Public Relations Manager Imjad Jaleel said that once completed, all lines will become fiber optic cables, and once completed, every residence will have the capability to supply 100mbps internet.

He added that issues facing the phone lines will be resolved.
