Telecommunications service provider Dhiraagu has launched the Galaxy S7 series smartphones.
The launch coincided with the global launch.
The new smartphones were handed over to the customers who had pre-registered for them.
The phones were launched by Dhiraagu CEO Ismail Rasheed and Samsung Sri Lanka Operations Managing Director Yan Ming Shin.
Dhiraagu had also given out eight Samsung Gear VR devices to lucky winners among the customers who had pre-ordered the phones. Many took part in the launch.
Dhiraagu Public Relations Manager Ibrahim Imjad Jaleel said that Dhiraagu had always aimed to coincide their launched with the global launches, so that their customers can have access to the latest smartphones. He said that Dhiraau was proud of having been able to launch the smartphone on the same day as the global launch.
Dhiraagu had also launched installment payment plans for the phone. The smartphones have been tested on the Dhiraagu network and officially endorsed by the company.
