President Abdullah Yameen Abdul Qayyoom has launched two companies; Islamic Finance Corporation and Khazaana Maldives.
Miadhu has been able to confirm that the two companies were formed to support the International Finance Centre to be developed in Hulhumale’.
President Abdullah Yameen Abdul Qayyoom had pledged to make the country to a main hub in Islamic Banking.
A plot of land had been allocated in Hulhumale’ for the development of the Corporation.
