Ruling Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM) has stated that the work of the ongoing election symposium was to ensure that the President wins the 2018 elections in one go.
The Party made the statement in the third symposium on the 2018 elections. The symposium will seek to train leaders and managers for the next elections.
As part of the symposium, individuals will be trained on door to door campaigns, services and projects carried out by the President in the first five year term and on increasing membership of the Party.
The third symposium will focus on Male’, Vilimale’ and Hulhumale’ for three days. The symposium was initiated by PPM PG Leader Ahmed Nihan Hussain Manik. President Yameen attended the symposium, with over 400 individuals taking part.
The first symposium was carried out for Atolls between Haa Alif and Meemu Atolls, while the second symposium was carried out for the atolls between Faafu Atoll and Addu City.
