Gaafu Dhaal Kaadehdhoo Airport management has been again handed over to Villa Air after annulling the previous agreement with Villa Air.
Villa Air submitted the case at the court following the decision of the government to annul the agreement. The Civil court issued a temporary court order to postpone the implementation of the notice sent to the company to annul the agreement.
Regional Airports Director Sami Aqeel said that the notice sent to annul the agreement has now been declared void. He said that this was to resolve any obstructions that the airport development might face.
He said that Villa Air is now given a new opportunity to correct whatever problems in the agreement.
Sami said that if Villa Air does not correct these issues then measures will be taken against the company.
