Islamic Minister Dr. Ahmed Ziyad Baqir stated that spiritual and intellectual peace as well as stability was vital to the development of the society and mental development.
He made the statement while delivering his address at the opening ceremony of Interfaith Dialogue Conference, which is currently being held in Doha.
He said that intellectual development was boosted by spiritual and intellectual peace as well as stability, which is a vital building block of any civilized society.
Dr. Ziyad stressed that Muslims should be familiarized with Islamic values and must practice the said values.
The 12th conference of Doha Interfaith Dialogue was inaugurated by Qatar’s Minister of Justice Hassan Lahdan Al Mohannadi. The conference will be held on the 16th and 17th of this month. Maldives will present a paper to the conference today.
