Land plot allocated to build Waqf building in Addu City
Addu City council has allocated a land plot to build the Waqf building in Addu City. The land allocated for the project is 15000 square feet.

The decision was made in the 20th meeting of the Addu City Council. Mayor Abdulla Sadiq stated that the land plot allocated for the project is near Dhiraagu office in Hithadhoo.

Sadiq said that the council has now currently hired people to design the building.

Sheikh Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed, Miniser of Islamic Affairs, announced to build a Waqf building in Addu City during the event held to open the Islamic Bank Addu City branch in Hithadhoo.
