The final hearing for the trial of Adhaalath Party (AP) leader Imran Abdulla has been cancelled.
The hearing was scheduled to commence at 10 am Sunday. An official at PG Office said that the hearing was cancelled after PG had additional documents to submit to Court regarding the case. The official added that the details of these documents will be revealed soon.
The last hearing of the case was held last on the 10th of this month. Justice Abdulla Baaree Yousuf, who presided over the hearing that day, said that if there are no further agendas, the next hearing will be based on the statements by the defendant and the plaintiff.
The hearing was cancelled after Imran was brought to Court. At the time of the cancellation, rumors had surfaced that PG was preparing to revoke the case, but the PG has denied the rumors.
