Carrom players from around the world who participated in the Carrom World Cup 2014 held in Sun Island Resort, Maldives have stated that they the resort gave them the best hospitality service which they have never received elsewhere in the world.
Ahmed Mubeen, the Treasurer of the International Carrom Federation and the Secretary General of Carrom Asia Confederation stated that some of the players are very aged and have travelled to many parts of the world. He said that almost all of them stated that Sun Island Resort and Spa gave them the best hospitality services.
Mubeen said that the players were very pleased with the services provided for them by the management of the resort and its staffs.
Speaking to Miadhu Daily, the General Manager of Sun Island Resort and Spa, Dr. Abdulla Mausoom said that the resort will always welcome all national activities.
“Sun island has international standard facilities to hold various types of sports. We have an enthusiastic and hardworking team,” he said.
He noted that the Villa Group Chairman, Gasim Ibrahim is the most inspiring leader in Maldives who is known for his national endeavors.
