A team from the Commonwealth Ministerial Action Group has arrived in Maldives.
The team was welcomed to the Maldives by Foreign Minister Dunya Maumoon.
CMAG Vice Chair and Ghana’s Vice President, who also serves as the Foreign Minister for the nation, Carl Greenidge heads the team. In addition to Vice-Chair of CMAG, the Delegation comprises Dr Amina Mohamed, Cabinet Secretary for Foreign Affairs and International Trade of Kenya, and Dr Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, Foreign Secretary of India.
Foreign Ministry reported that the CMAG Delegation is scheduled to hold discussions with the Government officials and key stakeholders in the country.
