Foreign Minister Dunya Maumoon has said that the investments made by China in the Maldives was increasing due to the Government’s strong policies.
She made the statement speaking in the 2016 spring festival reception celebrating the Chinese New Year held at Hotel Jen Tuesday night.
Minister Dunya said that many questions and doubts are cast over the increasing level of investments into the country, adding that the reasons were extremely clear. She further said that Maldives was ripe for investment, new businesses and with interesting opportunities for investors.
“All this shows that the policies enacted by the Government yield result. Investors and foreign partners can be assured of this,” she said, attributing the increase in investments to this fact.
Minister Dunya said that due these factors, all foreign partners had the opportunity to engage in a meaningful dialogue with the nation.
