Former Islamic Minister and Vice Chancellor of Maldives Islamic University Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed has called for unity.
He made the statement in a tweet posted in his personal twitter account, stating that the enemies of Islam aim to destroy Islam and the unity within the Muslims. He urged all Muslims to be wary of this threat.
Dr. Shaheem said that Islam is the religious on human rights and that Muslims did not need lessons in democracy and human rights. He also called to persevere and work towards reaching potential prior to death.
