Interim results for the fourth quarter 2015 for MTCC has shown that the company had earned a profit of MVR 49.49 million.
According to the statistics released by the Company, in 2015 the company had earned MVR 1.03 billion. The profits for the year, MVR 153.16 million, is a record figure in the company’s history. It is expected that earnings per share will hit MVR 159.9 this year.
Last year MTCC had also completed 49 projects, which is also a historic move in the company.
MTCC added that the bus services in Hulhumale’ have been extended with two additional shuttle buses added to the fleet. Additionally, last year, the first 60 horsepower Yanmar engine was introduced specially created for the local market. The company had also started the sale of boat construction fiber and other material as well.
