Amin Construction has revealed that the company has the capability to construct buildings that are 25 storeys high.
Speaking to Miadhu, Amin Construction’s Managing Director Abdullah Mohamed said that the draft drawings of the 20 story building to be constructed in TV plot were being drawn up. He added that the drawings will be completed by the mid of next month, adding that the work was carried out by Singaporean engineers due to the lack of local talent.
Abdullah Mohamed further said that the 14 storey Amin Avenue building to be developed in Hulhumale’ was underway.
“The building is developed as three towers; the first six sheets have been laid. The second tower’s three sheets have been laid and the work on the third tower will begin soon,” he said.
Amin Construction carried out the construction of Velaanaage, the first high rise building in Male’.
Abdullah Mohamed also welcomed STO’s decision to introduce power mix to the Maldives, under a subsidiary company. The shares of the subsidiary company are to be publicly sold.
