Speaking to Miadhu, some of the Australian tourists said that they had always heard of the Maldives, but had not expected such beauty. They added that they wanted to charter a sea plane to see the islands from above, but did not have sufficient time to do so.
The Italian tourists said that they wished to go on the cruise liner to explore the islands, praising the natural beauty of the country.
“We know the beauty of the seas; the miraculous beauty of the nation. We want to see the red corals and whale sharks. We will return back to the Maldives,” one of the visitors said.
