Riyadh; The new Ambassador of the Republic of Maldives accredited to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, His Excellency Mr. Abdullah Hameed has presented his Letter of Credence to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud yesterday.
Those in attendance included His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior; His Excellency Mr. Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir, Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Dr. Adel bin Zaid Al-Turaifi, Minister of Culture and Information, His Excellency Mr. Khalid bin Abdulrahman Al-Essa, Minister of State, Member of the Council of Ministers and President of Royal Court.
At the ceremony to present the credentials, Ambassador Hameed conveyed to His Majesty the King and the brotherly people of Saudi Arabia warm greetings and best wishes of President, His Excellency Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom and the people of Maldives. His Majesty the King welcomed the Ambassador and conveyed his greetings to the President.
The ceremony took place at the Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh Wednesday morning.
