Dhiraagu, SHE partners to implement child protection programs
Telecom giant Dhiraagu has partnered with Society for Health Education to implement child protection programs.

Speaking after the signing ceremony, Dhiraagu Director Marketing, Ahmed Maumoon said that this year alone, the company had taken part in many activities, with other organizations, designed to assist children and protect the rights of children.

He added that Dhiraagu was delighted to partner with an organization such as SHE, which had been active in the social protection sector of the country.

Maumoon said that under Dhiraagu’s corporate social responsibility program, they had championed the cause of raising awareness on the rights of the children and protecting children from various forms of abuse.

Speaking on behalf of SHE, Shiyama Anwar said that the sponsorship from Dhiraagu will ensure that the NGO’s projects were fully carried out.

Shiyama said in the coming year, the NGO had proposed many projects designed to raise awareness on the rights among children, teachers and parents.

Dhiraagu has a strong corporate social responsibility mission, focusing on assisting many of the projects carried out by various NGO’s, especially those involving children.
