High Court is to hold a fresh hearing of the appeal for jailed former Defense Minister Colonel (Rtd) Mohamed Nazim on Sunday.
Nazim was jailed for 11 years on weapons possession charges. Nazim had appealed the sentence. In the last hearing of the case, the prosecution had submitted fresh evidence to the Court.
Appeal hearings will be held in both morning and afternoon sessions of the court on Sunday.
Judges Abdu Rauf Ibrahim, Abdullah Hameed and Ali Sameer will be reviewing the appeal.
