A new branch of the Jumhooree Party has been opened in Hanimadhoo last night.
Speaking to Miadhu Daily, Hanimadhoo constituency MP Hussein Shahudee said that in addition to the opening of the new branch, members were allocated for different posts of the pld branch.
Ibrahim Hussein was appointed as the President of the Azum Branch of the Jumhooree Party in Hanimadhoo while Ali Nasheed was appointed as the Vice President. Ahmed Ihsan was selected as the Secretary of the branch.
Musathafa Saleem was selected as the President of the old branch of the Jumhooree Party in Hanimadhoo while Ahmed Rasheed appointed as the Vice President. Suzana Yusuf was appointed as the Secretary.
Shahudee said that he has recently visited Hanimadhoo and held a meeting with the island council. He said that the members of the island council will be visiting Male’ to hold meetings with the authorities to commence developmental projects in the island.
In addition to this Shahudee met with many of the public and the youth to listen to their pleas. He said that during his visit to Haa Dhaalu Naivadhoo the first branch of the Jumhooree Party in the island was established.
