STO Chairman has appealed to the public to serve and accommodate the needs of differently abled individuals.
He made the statement speaking in the Children’s Evening held in Artificial beach Thursday evening, which was organized by STO.
Niyaz said that any assistance given to those individuals should be given in a sustainable manner, not as a one off donation. He urged the public to assist them in a continuous way.
He added that such individuals were previously neglected and marginalized and therefore had no equal access to education. However, Niyaz said that the situation had been addressed to in the past few years.
Niyaz said that assisting such individuals is a responsibility of the entire community.
