Police will leave no stone unturned to find Rilwan- CP

Commissioner of Police, Hussein Waheed has said that the Maldives Police Service will not leave any stone unturned to find the missing Minivannews journalist Abdulla Ridwan.
Commissioner of Police made this remark in an interview to Miadhu Daily following the allegations of former President Mohamed Nasheed that the missing journalist of Minivannews was kidnapped is taken hostage.
When asked whether any investigations were made regarding Nasheed’s statement, CP said that Police will not leave any matter uninvestigated to find Rilwan.
He said that he does not want to make any further comments regarding the allegation of the President of the Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP).
Maldives Police Service has confiscated a car and withheld passports of 4 individuals in relation to the missing case of Minivan News journalist Ahmed Rilwan.
In the night he went missing, some neighbours saw a man forcing someone into a car. Meanwhile, the family of Rilwan offered 21 million MVR to anyone who shares true information.
