“Maldives is ready for foreign investors” says Foreign Minister Dunya

“The Maldives is ready for foreign investors, and the recently enacted SEZ Act will create unprecedented opportunities for foreign investment in the Maldives” says Minister of Foreign Affairs MsDunyaMaumoon. Minister Dunya made these remarks while speaking at a function hosted for the Foreign Minister by the Maldives High Commission in Colombo. The function was attended by a large number of diplomats accredited to the Maldives resident in Colombo.

At the reception held tonight, Foreign Minister Dunya thanked the Ambassadors for their continued support and friendship and briefed them on key foreign policy priorities and developments in the country.

The reception was also attended by the members of the Maldives delegation for the Second Session of the Maldives-Sri Lanka Joint Commission held this morning in Colombo.
