The Government has announced that they will be awarding those individuals who are currently serving and had served the health sector.
The announcement was made by Health Minister Irthisham Adam in the ceremony held to mark 50 years a member nation of World Health Organization (WHO).
Speaking in the ceremony, Irthisham said that the health sector had undergone rapid and significant successes. She said that these successes were attributed to those who had served the sector.
Minister Irthisham said that the recognition awards will be given out on the 7th of April, on World Health Day.
