Nothing we can be resolved without working with political parties- Sameer

Secretary General of the Jumhooree Party, Ahmed Sameer has said that no problem can be resolved is the Elections Commission refuse to cooperate with the political parties.

Sameer made this remark speaking to Miadhu Daily regarding the meeting with the members of the Elections Commission.

He said that the political parties are part of the government despite the parties having opposing ideologies yet at paid by the government.

Sameer said that the administrative section of the Elections Commission is working biased against a certain party.

“We are witnessing them trying to do this. However this is not what the nation is calling to. This should be stopped,” he said.

Sameer said that the main concern raised by political parties at the meeting was the staff of the commission not implementing the decisions taken by the members of the commission.
