Prizes have been distributed yesterday to the winners of the Chess Tournament organized by the Youth Leader of the Jumhooree Party during Ramadan.
Sun Island Resort and Spa’s General Manager Dr. Abdulla Mausoom handed over the prizes to the winners of the tournament at a function held yesterday at Jumhooree Platform, M. Kunooz.
The first prize winner was Adam Zahir of Male’ Hiya 1-142-2 and the second place was won by Abdurrahman Ali of the register 4801.
The first prize winner was given MVR 5000, second place winner was given MVR 3000 and the third prize winner was MVR 2000.
In addition to this all three winners were given an opportunity to spend one day in Sun Island Resort and spa with another person.
Certificates were also conferred during last night.
