President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has attended the awards ceremony of the ‘Maldives Open 2014’ surfing championship, held in Adaaran Select Hudhuranfushi resort.
At the ceremony held this afternoon, President Yameen presented awards to the winners of the ‘Men’s Open’ category.
Minister of Tourism, Arts, and Culture Hon. Ahmed Adheeb Abdul Gafoor presented awards for the winners of the ‘Men’s Bodyboarding’ category. Awards for the winners of the ‘Women’s Shortboarding’ category were presented by the Minister of Youth and Sports Hon. Mohamed Maleeh Jamal.
