President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has assigned Minister of Economic Development, Hon. Mohamed Saeed as Chairman of the Board of Investments. The President also appointed Minister of Housing and Infrastructure, Dr. Mohamed Muiz as member of the board.
The President made these changes following the dismissal of former Chairman of the Board of Investments, Vice President Ahmed Adheeb Abdul Ghafoor, as member of the board.
