President Abdullah Yameen Abdul Qayyoom has shared the available details of the explosion aboard the Presidential speedboat on the 28th of September, with the Parliament members of Progressive Party of Maldives, Maldivian Development Alliance and former Government coalition party, Jumhooree Party.
The two hour meeting was held in Muleeaage.
Speaking to press regarding the meeting, PPM Parliamentary Group Leader Ahmed Nihan Hussain Manik stated that the meeting was called by the President to share the latest available information regarding the event.
Vice President Ahmed Adeeb Abdul Ghafoor was not present in the proceedings, which had attracted the attention of many media. Nihan said that Vice President was not discussed in the meeting.
