State Trading Organization STO has opened up two new pharmacies under the program carried out by the company to open an Aasandha pharmacy in every inhabited island in the country.
As such, the STO pharmacies in L. Maamendhoo and R. Alifushi were opened on the 21st of this month. With the opening of the two pharmacies the number pharmacies across the nation opened by STO is now 171.
STO has noted the immense support the company had received by Health Ministry, Local Councils and the citizens for the project.
