President Abdullah Yameen Abdul Qayyoom has extended an invitation to persons of opposing views to that of the Government, to work in unison with the Government.
He made the statement speaking in the closing ceremony of the symposium held to train campaign managers to for 2018 presidential elections.
Speaking in the ceremony, President Yameen said that his sole aim was to ensure that the Government secured the best interests of the citizens. He called on all those with differing views, especially those who had left the Government based on their ideologies, to work in unison with the Government.
President Yameen said that PPM was a party that abided by the democratic processes and therefore, two parties have to abide by agreed principles.
