Dhiraagu CEO Ismail Rasheed has stated that the company’s apprenticeship program has yielded results as over 60 percent of students graduating from the program were currently serving in good positions in reputed companies.
He made the statement speaking in the ceremony held to award 26 students with the Dhiraagu Apprenticeship Program.
Ismail Rasheed said that the program was being run with the hard work of the company. He added that an additional 25 percent of program graduates were currently abroad for further studies and many were self-employed. He said that this result was one Dhiraagu was extremely satisfied with.
Ismail Rasheed said that the 26 students had been chosen from a pool of 600 applicants and appealed the winners to make the best of the opportunity. He added that even though they were apprentices, they will not be treated any differently.
He said that the departments of the company were opened to the apprentices to learn and develop their individual skill sets. He also appealed to participants to treat the opportunity responsibly and to hold themselves accountable. Ismail Rasheed also said that the apprentices will be assisted and guided through out their tenure, for a successful conclusion of the program.
