Applications are open for Faruma 2015

Ministry of Youth and Sports has opened applications for Faruma 2015.

Faruma is a fair organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports to promote art and innovation amongst the youth, to give exposure to the rising artists and innovators and to create a platform a whereby the artists are able to interact with potential buyers and build relationships.

According to the Ministry this fair would create employment opportunities and entrepreneurial ventures in this industry for the youth.

The 3 day fair would be held at National Art Gallery from 1st to 3rd October 2015 and is targeted for each and every young person who are between the ages of 18 to 35. The most significant component of this fair is that each exhibitor gets the opportunity to sell their products to the visitors.
The deadline for application is Saturday, the 12th of September 2015. Applications forms will be available from the counter of Ministry of Youth and Sports (Velanaage 3rd floor) and Youth Centre. Applicants may submit applications forms to Velaange 3rd Floor Counters, Male’ Youth Centre counter, Youth Centres in the atolls and the official email of the fair, [email protected].
