Dhangethi constituency MP, Ilham Ahmed has said that the current government is a government established by the sacrifices of the Jumhooree Party and therefore the Jumhooree Party wants to help the government in fulfilling its promises.
Ilham said that the Jumhooree Party will never want to obstruct and be in the way of the government in fulfilling these promises.
“We will never want to obstruct the government. We will never want the government to have any promises unfulfilled. We will fully cooperate with the government to fulfill these promises. For instance, this stand of the Jumhooree Party was exemplified yesterday when the Jumhooree Party issued a three line whip to support the Special Economic Zone bill submitted by the government,” he said.
Ilham said that yesterday was a historic day of the Peoples’ Majlis and he noted that the Immigration Bill was passed with the amendments submitted by the Jumhooree Party.
Ilham said that he hopes for mutual discussions from the government with the Jumhooree Party in the future to decide on important matters.
