Environment Ministry has revealed that President Abdullah Yameen Abdul Qayyoom will launch today’s 3R Forum.
The Ministry also revealed that Vice President Ahmed Adeeb Abdul Ghafoor and Environment Minister Thoriq Ibrahim will act as co-chairs of the Forum. The Ministry stated that over 100 nations and over 200 representatives from international organizations will take part in the Forum.
The Sixth regional 3R Forum in Asia and the Pacific will be held from 16-19 August 2015. It is an initiative taken by the Ministry of environment and energy and Ministry of Tourism. International discussions will be carried out regarding waste management techniques in this forum. The forum will be held in Dharubaaruge.
