Hotel Jen has opened a new café, which is based on fast service and inexpensive food.
The new café is located in the lobby area of the hotel, accessible from the road, and will feature fast food, coffee, ice-cream, other drinks and bakery items. The items are at lower prices than the normal prices in Hotel Jen.
Customers have the option of inhouse dining and takeaway options.
Hotel Jen General Manager Vathsala said that even though the items were at cheaper prices, the items are prepared in Hotel Jen and in prime quality. He added that the service was started with the aim providing their customers with easy access.
Vathsala stated that the café will be in operation from 10.00 am to 2.00 am and added that he hoped that the service will be positively received by the public.
Special activities were held to mark the opening of the café with entertainment for children and children were given treats for free for an hour.
